Fail2Ban - Login to mysql

We have several servers with SSH public (using sFTP). There are obviously too many attacks.

We want to put forbidden logs into MySQL database for generating statistics etc.

Has anyone tried this?

thanks

Fail2SQL - SQL log for Fail2Ban

Fail2SQL is called by Fail2Ban and writes information to the MySQL database, including geographic location and overall score. This information can then be used in reports, charts, or third-party programs to take further action such as permanent blocking, reporting to ISP, etc.

There seems to be no direct way to do this. You will need to write a script to parse the fail2ban log files and insert the IP and bantimes into the mysql table. I found it here: http://blog.dp.cx/25/postfix-fail2ban-win
