Microsoft Access 2007 Extension for Windows Vista 64-bit

Has anyone ever tested Microsoft Access 2007..accdr on Windows Vista 64-bit? I am selling shareware using the Access 2007 runtime and there is a problem for one customer with this installation. According to the user "When I try to execute a program, it opens IE and then opens a dialog to open, save or cancel the file" myprogram.accdr ". If I choose to run it just quits and then goes back to the same question."

Sounds like it somehow got matched to IE. On my Windows XP system, it launches Access and launches the program. Any ideas?

MS Access is not supported on a 64-bit basis because it requires a 64-bit JET engine which is not available, Microsoft only released a 32-bit JET engine. Therefore your application must run on WOW, therefore it runs as 32 bit and therefore can use a 32 bit jet engine.

This works great. After 3 weeks of hair pulling with the installer access installer. I got the job. your links must be added to the packer or you will get runtime errors. Billions of them .. Not exactly 4 or 5. And then it doesn't recognize built-in functions like date, time, loading ... etc.

SO IT WORKS.

Is the client using 64-bit IE? Access 2007 is only 32 bits. 32-bit IE may work correctly.
