How do you do cross-browser and non-Flash font embedding?

What's the best solution for embedding non-web fonts in a page without Flash and cross-server support? Has anyone used any JavaScript libraries for this? Thanks.

The simple answer is one of these services:

http://typekit.com/

http://kernest.com/

http://www.fontsquirrel.com/

They use a combination of Javascript, css and various embedded font formats.

Koufon seems like a viable alternative, although I haven't used it myself.

It's all in CSS - and has the appropriate font formats.

Firefox / Gecko likes OTF, TTF and WOFF Safari / WebKit / Opera likes OTF, TTFs MobileSafari likes SVG

No Javascript needed.
