ASP.NET - Manage Calendars - Remove Dates with Custom Strike

I want to remove all dates up to today in an overlapping red x calendar control in ASP.NET. I can strikethru use a normal strikethrough font using the DayRender event. I can add an image, but it's next to the date. I want x (image) to overlap date

Is it possible? If so, please help me how to do this.

Thanks.

Use CSS,

  • Make table cell position relative
  • Make image position absolute, top and left: 0

Update: The calendar control, like all ASP.NET controls, renders HTML. In this case, it will output an HTML table with a structure that looks something like this:

<table class="calendar_widget">
 <tr>
  <td>01</td>
  <td>02</td>
  <td>03</td>
  <td>04</td>
  <td>05</td>
  <td>06</td>
  <td>07</td>
 </tr>
 ....etc

<td>

or a cell table is known to contain the date and image that you insert. You can use CSS to apply specific styles to a cell and an image so that they appear differently.

I think your HTML calendar with an image will look something like this:

<td><img src="x.gif" />01</td>

You can use a CSS stylesheet to apply the following styles:

table.calendar_widget td {
  position: relative;
}

table.calendar_widget td img {
  position: absolute;
  left: 0;
  top: 0;
}

That's HTML basics - if that doesn't help, I would recommend tracking someone familiar with interface design and getting help.
