Installed VS Express 2010 with .NET 4.0 and now the .NET 3.5 setup project adds 15 dependencies

Question

I have installed VS Express 2010 with .NET 4.0 and now the .NET 3.5 setup project in VS 2008 adds 15 dependencies (below), what's going on ???

I haven't changed anything in the project between installing VS 2010, VS 2008 packs the following files into the project:

Packing file 'System.IdentityModel.dll' ...

Packing file 'System.Runtime.Serialization.dll' ...

Packing file 'System.ServiceModel.Web.dll' ...

Packing file 'System.ServiceModel.dll' ...

Packing file 'System.Web.Abstractions.dll' ...

Packing file 'System.Web.Extensions.dll' ...

Packing file 'System.Xml.Linq.dll' ...

I uninstalled VS 2010 and .NET 4.0 to no avail, same problem.

Lesson learned: NOT AN EXPERIMENT ON A DEVELOPMENT MACHINE!

Praise the Lord, got the answer.

I uninstalled .NET 4.0 and when I updated Windows the .NET 3.5 SP1 update was shown.

I had this update before I installed 4.0.

After installing update 3.5 SP1, the problem disappeared.

Didn't see 3.5 SP1 update when installing 4.0.
