Ruby on Rails Question - Answer Website

Does anyone know of a good tutorial or query-and-answer app for Ruby on Rails like this site (although it will probably end up with a completely different purpose in the end)?

If you are serious about building this application, I can suggest that you just learn Ruby on Rails and build it yourself instead of looking for a tutorial. There's a lot of great tutorial material out there, and assuming you have a solid understanding of Ruby programming, Rails is incredibly easy to get started. In terms of books, Agile Web Development with Rails definitely gets my recommendation.

Anyway, the Rails Guides are probably well read, it will help you understand the basics of MVC and how to build a simple Rails application, so you can go ahead and start building your own application. If you run into any problems in the future, please post your questions here and I am sure you will get the answer you are looking for.



Even though tutorials exist for building any type of application, it's important to know what's going on and how to architect your application around your specific needs.
