Amazon S3 - APi Outside Bucket Association

I want to link a bucket in account X that is created by account Y

Account Y has granted read and write permissions to X in the bucket using an email id

This was done using S3Fox - however, when I log into account X, I see no way to link the external bucket.

I tried to enter bucket name as usual but didn't work

So, I would like to code my own association through PHP and take a break, but cannot find the call in the API docs - can anyone send me a link or example code on how to create an external bucket in the X account

Account X needs to set up the bucket with Y as an "external bucket". but this is worse. the function of the external bucket depends on the use of the X client software. so the information about which X buckets are listening is stored on the X client and not on S3. X must use the s3 client which supports external buckets.
