Ordering the results of ö together with o

I want to order a set of results. The columns I want to use for the order contain German umlauts like ö, ü and ä. I want the column data with these sorts to match the normal letters. Example:

In it Moment, the result set is ordered as follows: ABCOXYZÖ

I want it to be ordered like this: ABCOÖXYZ

DB2 9 has a COLLATION_KEY function for specifying the sort order in ORDER BY clauses:



ORDER BY COLLATION_KEY(field,...)

Look at changing the sort sequence before running SQL - this is the SRTSEQ parameter in STRSQL, RUNSQLSTM, or CHGJOB commands.
