Can heroku-rails-app be routed to a subdirectory of my custom domain?

I want to set up a rails app on heroku which is part of a website. A website hosted on a different server explains the use of the app, shows a tour, plans, contains a blog about related things, etc.

I want to go to my_domain / app and the application should respond to that url. The custom_domain add-in does not allow directory entry.

How can I customize this or how do you understand this scenario?

Heroku needs to run rails app at the root of your domain.



However, you can run the application as a subdomain and use wildcard DNS: app.my_domain.com
