How can I play a wav file in Silverlight 3?

How can I play a wav file in Silverlight 3. The file is in another website.

You have to use MediaElement to play the sound file. To be honest, I couldn't get Silverlight to play a WAV file and had to convert it to WMA. But it may have been an unsupported codec.

SL2 doesn't seem to support wav playback. But in SL3 wav playback is support.
