Java library \ application for creating SQL frontend interface

Does anyone know of a java library or application that allows manipulation of the SQL interface through the java GUI, eg. Swing or SWT?

I'm looking for something similar to the ASP.Net Datagrid, where you essentially "plug in" the requests, ask a few things, and voila!

I've used Spring JDBC a bit and played around with the JDBC pattern to try and create a generic project that does this, but it still seems like I've been doing this before, albeit more elegantly :)
