What is forced (involuntary) deletion of a resource assigned to a named process?
I cannot remember the name describing this. I tried searching and didn't come up with a key term.
withdrawn? Invalidity? Yoink?
Pretty sure it's "yoink".
In general, the recall of the resource. In particular, resources managed with descriptors handle invalidation.
I know that with locks it is called "breaking the lock". I don't know of a general term that applies to all resources. I suppose I would call this "resource recall" if I really had to come up with one of them.
