I would like to create a COM server that can maintain its state across all calls. My goal is to have a thread safe in memory database. And provide access to it through the COM interface.
Is it possible?

Given the lack of popularity of COM, I ended up providing the XMLRPC interface, at least I know how to diagnose errors if they occur.
