Is there a way to execute pre- / post-switch commands using TortoiseSVN?

We need to complete some tasks when moving from one Subversion branch to another using TortoiseSVN. Is there a way, for example, to call a batch file before and after the switch? The only ones I can find are pre- / post-update and commit hooks, but none of them get executed when switching between branches.

EDIT: I'm looking for client side hooks. TortoiseSVN has client side scripts for pre / post update and commit, but nothing (what I can find) for pre / post switch. I originally thought that adding hooks for pre / post refresh on the client side would be done when switching between branches, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Hooks happen on the server side; Switching branches are essentially a convenient upgrade path for the client. Since Tortise is not an SVN server, I assume this article summarizes your exact situation:

The batch file that does what you need should be running locally instead of using TortiseSVN, and it should switch to the local branch before or after your custom code if needed.
