Vista Permissions

I'm calling: config.Save (ConfigurationSaveMode.Modified); and this call works fine on Windows XP.

When I run it on Vista I get:

Exception: System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException: An exception was thrown by the target of the call. ---> System.Configuration.ConfigurationErrorsException: An error occurred while loading the configuration file: Access denied to path "C: \ Windows \ system32 \ 2lqfj0cv.tmp". (C: \ Windows \ system32 \ MsiExec.config) ---> System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to path "C: \ Windows \ system32 \ 2lqfj0cv.tmp" is denied.

Now I am dealing with the local fact that I am making the call above from Windows Installer MSI (call to managed DLL). I guess I need to do something for user permission? I don't really know much about Vista permissions?

Try using run as admin. Also do you want to edit MSIEXEC.config?
