Folder strings in the BizTalk flat file schema

I'm trying to create a BizTalk schema that looks something like this: ignore spaces between lines - they are only available for clarity.):
"
X Rows will be inserted
Column1 ^ Column2 ^ Column3 ^ column4 ^ Column5
Data1a ^ Data2a ^ Data3a ^ Data4a ^ Data5a
Data1b ^ Data2b ^ Data3a ^ Data4b ^ Data5b "

So I have a blank line followed by a number of lines followed by a header line before I get the actual data. When I try to set up the schema so that an empty string (consists only of {CR} {LF}) and checks the instance, the schema does not work (no error message to load).

I am running BizTalk 2009 and the file is a simple .txt file.

Ok ... I found the answer: Feel free to call if you find / have a better one.

Set an empty string in the Type field xs: string.
Set the title row to one record (defining all fields as rows).
Define a duplicate entry.

I am still open to further suggestions in case anyone has a better way as it seems a little awkward to me.
