MVC - Activating Forms Authentication

I have an MVC 1.0 application with VS2008.

I added config to web.config but app crashes in Default.aspx page code. Not sure why it is loading this page.

I am just using all the defaults for MVC 1.0.

This is my webconfig. Shouldn't my login page be shown in this configuration?

  <system.web>
    <httpHandlers>
      <add path="*" verb="*"
          type="System.Web.HttpNotFoundHandler"/>
    </httpHandlers>

The default template project in ASP.NET MVC has support for user accounts, including form authentication, user creation, etc. Take a look at the template project and copy / get inspiration from their config file and AccountController
