Windows 7 RC (boot camp) and Visual Studio 2008 installation issue

I have a Windows 7 RC in a loaded MacBook Air. Everything works fine except that VS 2008 won't install the system. He complains that the Setup.exe file is not valid. Oddly enough, Visual Studio Express Edition SP1 installs fine.

I used to have Win7 Beta on Parallels and it installed fine there.

Any ideas?

Macbook Air doesn't have a CD, does it? Your setup files may be corrupted when copied over the network or saved to HDD. Try to create an ISO of the installation version, copy it to your MacBook and check the MD5 on both sides. That they conform, mount the ISO, and proceed with the installation.

Is your VS2008 SP1 or not?

I am using VS2008 SP1 on Windows 7 RC1. And never had a problem even when I was using Windows 7 beta stages (when it just came out).

I have problems running some programs on windows7, but VS2008 is not one of them.
