VMWare for testing IIS Server

I am wondering if anyone can help. I would like to run IIS on the VMWare server, but I would like to be able to access it on the IIS server using a browser on my PC.

Can anyone tell me if this is possible?

Yes, it is possible if you have configured a host connection for the virtual server.

I have tested a VM with Apache on Ubuntu using a browser from my WinXP, so this is possible. Simple validation IP that you got from VMware (use ipconfig for example). I have set "Ehternet: host only" in the device configuration.
