Best CMS for a private website with Charting

I am really new to website development and for the project I need:

There are no public pages. All are private. Login + Password (Users, Administrators)

Ability to load XML files from an Android device Parse this XML into something I can build. Easy chart. Admin users can be read by all sub-users.

You don't have to look good. No blog. Strictly XML diagrams.

I was thinking about using Wordpress, but I don't know if this is the best idea. I can code, but I don't need much PHP + MySQL experience. Maybe there is something simpler there?

Thanks for taking the time.

If you can program then it will be very easy for you to do what you want with PHP / Mysql and xml parsing. PHP has great and easy charting capabilities out of the box.

If you add Wordpress or another CMS to the mix, you might drown in the beginning. If you organize your code well, you can connect it to the CMS later.

It looks like you don't need a CMS. You can work with some php tutorials (google, tutorialized.com ...). Php: SimplePHP has a library, maybe it helps.

Wordpress is the most basic CMS, so if you need it go with that.

Hope this helped.

You said that all pages in your project will be private. So you don't want to go with CMS or Opensources like wordpress ...

It would be better if you could program this project as a custom one. There are also many open source XML diagrams to implement it.
