How do I run a command every time Cruise Control.NET (ccnet) automatically checks the source?

Basically, I want to run a check script for the existence of a specific file type on every new revision.

Subversion is used for version control.

There ccnet.config

is an element <tasks>

in your project configuration (internally ) where you can define various actions to be taken each time the integration is started. In your case, you'll create a trigger that looks something like this:

<triggers>
  <intervalTrigger name="continuous" 
                   seconds="60"
                   buildCondition="IfModificationExists" />
</triggers>
