MongoDB RSS Feed Entries, Insert Entries into a Feed Object?

I keep a link to an RSS feed in MongoDB, each feed has an ever growing list of entries. Since I am designing my schema, I am worried about this instruction from MongoDB Schema Design - Inline Against Reference Documentation:

If the amount of data to embed is huge (many megabytes), you can read the single object size limit.

This will certainly happen if I understand the statement correctly. So the question is, am I correct in assuming that I should not embed the feed entries in the Feed because you end up hitting the single object size limit?

When designing your schema, you should be aware of the 4MB size limits for a single document in Mongo.

SERVER-431 :

the 4MB limit is not a hard se limit, it is easy to change. the resonance is there, and we really love that it maintains consistent performance, allows drivers to make some assumptions about the input to do, and generally prevents really awful things from happening.

if there is a big one to change, we certainly can.
