SWFObject v2 - How to remove annoying Click to Activate message in IE7?
I am using SWFObject version 2 and am using its dynamic publish function. Typical JavaScript code for embedding flash like (based on its recognized example from the documentation page):
swfobject.embedSWF(..
However, in IE7 I always see the "Click to Activate" message. I heard that SWFObject was supposed to solve this problem, however my experience with it now makes me ask for a difference. I'm happy I was wrong.
Any suggestion how to remove this issue? Sample JavaScript code and / or page URL using SWFObject is really appreciated.
Thanks.

Microsoft removed the click to activate the "feature" about a year ago (Microsoft resolved the EOLAS lawsuit, which allowed Microsoft to stop requiring a click to activate plugins). If you are still facing a button click to activate the message, you will probably need to get the latest IE security fixes.
SWFObject 1.x addressed the issue, but SWFObject 2.x no longer addresses this issue as Microsoft released a browser fix.
