Installing Pear Extension with PHP Installer

I am installing PHP using the PHP installer . So the PEAR package is not included . Now the question I need PEAR for the purpose of updating Symfony , but the resources I found on the Internet seem to be for the case where the PEAR package is already included in the PHP package.

What is the best way to install the PEAR extension, given that I am using the PHP installer to install it?

I solved the problem.

It turns out that you need to select the PEAR option from the extension menu when selecting PHP install components to install the PEAR package.

PEAR is just a collection of libraries that come with PHP, but you can also install PEAR manually.
