How to convert VS2003 proj to VS2005 proj

Hi I have a test project that I need to convert from VS2003 to VS2005 and I'm afraid I have a lot of errors and warnings.

The error mostly appeared ** error C2220: warning handled as error - file 'object' not created **
The same project will compile in VS2003 and work fine. What can I do???

try to create a new 2005 solution and add the header file and source files and compile. If you see it like that, whether errors occur in the code or the project itself.

Is this an ASP.NET project? Are you using VS2005 SP1?



Make sure VS has not created a Website project for you. They introduced this nonsense in VS2005 and then re-added the Web Application Projects in SP1. Make sure you are using SP1.

I am assuming that you have converted one or more C ++ projects. The VS2005 compiler is stricter than VS2003; you suddenly get warnings on a project that compiles fine with VS2003. You just need to fix the warnings, then everything will be fine. If you add a warning text to your question, I'll probably show you how to fix it.
