Authenticating Test Windows on Local Computer

How can I test this Windows Authentication feature on my local machine since I have no intranet and systems under the domain.

to take a hit in the dark, I'm assuming you have IIS running on your computer that has a site installed that requires windows authentication?



I think the easiest option is to try to connect to the IIS machine from a second computer and see if you can log in with the credentials you use on the server. If you don't have a second machine, then you can download VMWare Player and the Ubuntu Appliance (or grab a virtual box and build a virtual machine of your choice) and use it as your second machine.
