Error accessing SharePoint list data using SSRS 2008

I am trying to access list data using SSRS 2008.

I created an XML datasource with the following connection string: " http: // [Your_Site_Name] /_vti_bin/lists.asmx ".

Then I created a dataset with the following query:

<Query> <SoapAction>http://schemas.microsoft.com/sharepoint/soap/GetListItems</SoapAction> <Method Namespace="http://schemas.microsoft.com/sharepoint/soap/" Name="GetListItems"> <Parameters> <Parameter Name="listName"> <DefaultValue>Your_List_Name</DefaultValue> </Parameter> </Parameters> </Method> <ElementPath IgnoreNamespaces="True">*</ElementPath> </Query>

Now the problem:

I am having trouble reading column values that contain html markup / tags (specifically the Mulitple lines of text field type). Reporting Services creates a "row" field in the dataset when it encounters one of these columns.

I tried to remove this "string" field and created the actual field manually. Then I set the column value as HTML in placeholder properties (new feature in SSRS 2008 where HTML markup is treated as styles) but doesn't work.

For example Comment Column in "Bug Tracking Report" is stored as "div"

Doing the same query in CAMLBuilder works great showing all columns.

How can I solve this problem. Any help?

Thanks in advance
