Web Service Question

I am creating a web service, I am defining an IP connection (everything works fine)

but how can I determine the IP in a variable?

now, I change with find and replace in VS2008 and right click on

Web service properties.

I'm not sure if I understand your question, but I think you are asking how to get a client application to call a web service on a specific IP address? If so, there should be a section in your App.config (or web.config if it's a web client) where the address of the web service is listed.

Another option is to do it programmatically (let's say the web service is called "MyService"):
