Two users in different membership DB cannot use the same email address

Q1 - Ive created two membership databases (using the aspnet_regsql tool) DB1 and DB2. Then I created A1 and A2 web applications. A1 uses DB1 to store user credentials, while A2 uses DB2. If the user created in A1 (via the WAT tool) uses the email address DB@gmail.com , none of the users created in A2 can have the same email address. But that doesn't make sense since the two apps are using different databases to store the user's credentials ?!

Q2 - I've noticed that when I add a new membership provider (in the section of the web.config file) and then try to add attributes, the Intellisense function does not work as it does not display all the available attributes for that particular provider. Why is this?

A1. If the membership settings in your web.config for application "A2" point to "DB1" this makes sense, otherwise it is unlikely. Make sure the ConnectionStringName property points to "DB2" instead of "DB1"

A2. Intellisense will not work for a custom provider if it is not registered in the intellisense schema settings for your visual studio installation.

Here is some information on adding a Custom XSD for intellisense
