Call WCF Service (.svc) from VBScript, WScript, VBA, etc. With parameters

I tried to implement the previously mentioned questions mentioned below:

Calling WCF Service with VBScript

In my specific scenario, I need to pass one string variable that will return an array of strings, but no luck.

I suspect I am having a hard time getting the envelope request correctly. Below is the wdsl I am trying to call. Can you give me an example on how I can call this pass on a parameter and parse the returned array?

This WSDL document does not contain a schema (all statements <wsdl:import>

) for I / O operations, so it is not possible to determine what the request should look like based on this information.

But one thing can be done: open the WCFTestClient.exe file, point it to the WSDL of the running service, then - when you run a tool like Fiddler - send a request to the service. This way you will be able to see the service request and response. At this point, retry the request (including things like the HTTP header SOAPAction

, if applicable) and the request body.
