Lucene.NET performance

I have a site that is running a third party search provider that is expensive. I'm going to throw my own.

Is Lucene.NET available for ~ 25,000 products (or documents), each of which can contain ten attributes used for filtering? I'm looking to do "narrow / expand" or "faceted search".

Does this sound like asking Lucene.NET?

I've used it with millions of records and the performance was great. It was reliable and easy to get up and operate. Highly recommended if you need full text search.
