Yes, but you're better off with Portal 6.1.0.1 and 7. In Portal 6 and WAS 6, a 64-bit JVM can have much more memory for the same application than a 32-bit JVM. This issue is addressed by a combination of Portal 6.1.0.1 and WAS 7.
