Does facebook open new open graph api filter by location?

I see that www.booshaka.com allows you to search for facebook public updates using the new api. I wondered if the filter could be turned on ... as in twitter "QUERY near: LOCATION" etc.

We do not add location information to Status Updates, so this is not a search box.

The only location search you can do is search for places -
