How to fix Mac font compatibility issue on Windows using Adobe Flash CS4?

I need to edit a Flash movie that someone else has developed in Adobe Flash CS3 on a Mac. I am using Adobe Flash CS4 on Windows (Vista). However, the font that appears on my computer is much larger than the .SWF it created.

He used a custom font that I had to add to my Fonts folder. Since Adobe Flash now detects the correct fonts on my computer (because I installed them), it does not display them to replace the fonts.

I believe the fonts are rendered differently because I am using Windows.

Does anyone know why they would be treated differently? How to fix it?

EDIT: If it makes any difference the missing fonts were: "Univers LT Std 57 Condensed" and "Univers LT Std 57 Condensed Oblique"

Have you opened the font mapping options to make sure Flash maps the font in FLA to the font you want to use? (Under Editing> Font Display).
