How can I get google ground grid data?

I am creating an application and I would like to import 3D buildings to Google Earth which you can find in Chi, NYC, SF, etc.

However, some 3D buildings in Google Earth come directly from the Google 3D Warehouse , in which case they can be loaded into COLLADA (.dae) or SketchUp (.skp).
