Market size for end-user applications (Microsoft Access, Filemaker Pro, etc.)

This is not a technical question, but I thought I would throw it away anyway.

I need the rough size of the end-user app market. In particular, we are talking about products such as Microsoft Access and Filemaker Pro.

Does anyone know where I can find such information (preferably without paying $ 5,000 for a marketing research report?)?

Microsoft's annual report should talk about ms access and also have information on market size, penetration, occupancy, etc.
