FTP for Verio Starter Pack

Does anyone know how to connect to their FTP server? I'm using a domain name + starter pack (the one that comes free with domain name registration). I have tried using Microsoft Expression Web and IE8, both cannot connect on port 21.

There is no FTP for the general IP product. Why then do they give free web space ?:(
