Will the new VS2010 Beta 1 have a virtual PC?

I love the idea of using VS2010. I downloaded it today to play with it. But I hesitate to install all of this on my machine, since upgrading from Microsoft beta versions is usually difficult. Also, I'm not an expert on TFS installation, so I don't know how to do this.

But I still want to play with him ...

Does anyone know of a VPC that's all set up and ready to use?

VPC is only for Visual Studio alpha, I guess.

The best way to play with VS is to install in a virtual machine (VmWare or VirtualPC) or install your other machine (home computer, laptop, second computer, etc.), imho.

If you do not have an OS license for a virtual machine, you can try a trial version of Microsoft systems or beta versions (Win7 and Server 2008 R2).

Microsoft is doing a lot of interesting work with virtualization and shipping several large virtualization products soon. HyperV and XP virtualized in Windows 7 especially. It would be shocking if we didn't see this functionality in the new VS.

If you're interested in desktop virtualization for development testing, check out Sun's Virtual Box , it's awesome and unlike other high quality free and GPL virtualization environments . I am using a portable version of VirtualBox to drag and drop my virtual desktops back and forth to work every day on an external SATA drive.
