What os should i try vs2010 beta1 on? which emulator is faster?

I just downloaded VS 2010 Beta1 Pro and I want to set up a vm to try the new devenv. What os and what emulator software should you try for the best performance? (currently I have XP sp3, Win 7 RC, Win 2008).

hmm .... Win 7 or 2008. While I would say Win 7 better reflects Microsoft's newest development environment ... you really wouldn't be doing dev for 2008 .... although you could.

Personally, I've had a dual boot, especially when Win 7 RC is free and running natively.

Otherwise, I will definitely be able to virtualize with full hardware acceleration.



this bit of software from gibson will help you determine if your hardware supports full hardware acceleration.

If so, obviously you need a VM solution that can use this like VMWare or MS HyperV
