Changes to the image of the list in the list in android?

I am developing an Android application where I need to manipulate the background image of rows in a listview under certain conditions. Initially, when loading the list, everything works correctly. But when I scroll through the list and navigate back, the background images change. Can someone tell me the reason why this is happening?
