Bluetooth audio output on Android
I just noticed using HTC Dream that using a bluetooth headset was very easy for making phone calls, but nothing was available for video / music. The V1.0 limitations are not to blame, as when you play music and start a conversation, you can hear the music in the headset for a second. This is technically possible, just not available in the settings.
Does anyone know how to redirect software audio output to blutooth headset?
I would like to code a small app that will allow you to listen to music while looking like a complete idiot with a big device hanging on your listening :-)
NB: This question is a copy of the one I asked on the google group.

Prior to Android 1.5, Bluetooth support was limited to the headset / hands-free profile. No "sound" other than a telephone conversation can be routed over Bluetooth.
Having installed Cupcake on my G1, I now used the Bluetooth stereo sound perfectly with the Motorola S9 headphones. The entire stack is even smart enough to automatically pause music / video, switch to the headset profile when a call comes in, and then back when the call ends.
