Iphone application submission process

I ended up with my first iphone app (SO helps a lot). Now I want to submit my app to the app store for viewing. I can use itunes connect to submit my app. I have few questions.

1) I don't know how to create a build for release. I mean I don't know what profile it requires. There are reference videos, but they are all for development development not for release.

2) Where can I list all application attributes like Genre etc.

3) I don't have iTunesArtwork, but it doesn't show up in my itunes when I build the build distribution. Will it be the same for release.

Hope my question is genuine.

  • ITunes Connect has a guide. Go to the iTunes connect portal and there is a PDF manual you can download listed at the bottom of the page. Follow the step by step instructions listed there.

  • Genre, etc. specified during the upload process to iTunes Connect.

  • The work is also installed on the iTunes Connect portal. However, if you want to see it on the development lines, you can add 512x512 png to the root of your project and name it "iTunesArtwork" (no extension).
