The popup disappears from the screen when the popup is opened from this page

I have a problem with dropdowns in IE6. When I open the popup from the page, the dropdown menu on the main screen disappears. This doesn't happen with IE7. Even if I open the popup, I still need to see the dropdown on the home screen. Can anyone try to fix this problem? I am developing pages in ASP.NET.
