SQL Server What is the size of the VLDB

Is it at least 1 TB or 2?

My current client has sub 1 TB and I wanted to know if I would write that they are on the verge of being reclassified due to their size, they should consider these issues with BOATLOAD.

In my opinion, this is the classic answer, it depends. Instead of focusing on a fixed size, I would take a look at how the application works now, and that requires additional complexity. Then choose the methods that fix the problems you are experiencing.



This is mostly an old adjuvant, not optimizing your solution prematurely.
