Will my application be available worldwide or only in my country?

I'm going to upload a free app on the App Store in a few weeks. I came from Holland. Will it be available globally or just here? I'm concerned that the App Store always shows me apps from my country on the top lists, and I doubt that so many apps come from here.

This is for you. When you submit your app for viewing on iTunes Connect, you are prompted to choose which countries it will be listed in.
