Communication error with mingw32 g ++

Why am I getting:

undefined reference to `CryptAcquireContext(unsigned int**, char const*, char const*, unsigned long, unsigned long)@20'

I am using the Mingw32 compiler.

Some of the code is definitely tidy. Otherwise, the only thing we can assume is that the linker cannot find a suitable function definition CryptAcquireContext

(which may be due to a missing file reference Advapi32.lib

).
