Is there a good overview graphic of the default viewing heights in iPhone OS?

I often face the problem, I don't know how much space I need to fit.

There are 20 units in the status bar. How about tab bar, navigation bar, etc.? Of course I can look at it, but is there any good graphics on the net that show all this adventures?

Let us know!

I found that after a few months of using the iPhone, you will have all the standard sizes, as well as those related to your applications.

I often use the built-in mac screen shot utility to measure the pixel sizes of elements in the simulator. (Command-Shift-4) I will draw the box in the size I want. jot down the dimensions and then Escape it so the snapshot doesn't happen.

Another is in the iPhone Developers Cookbook by Erica Sadun. I have this and it covers all heights and frames for portrait and landscape mode.

I cannot post an image, but you can purchase the book for yourself: http://www.amazon.com/iPhone-Developers-Cookbook-Building-Applications/dp/0321555457

Not the strongest of iPhone developer writing, but has some useful stuff, especially when it comes to programmatic display of views. (This was mostly written before IB worked on the iPhone)

It's also helpful to note that in IB, if you choose your view, the first pane of the Attributes inspector has a Modeled Metrics section where you can simulate adding a status bar, top pane, and bottom pane. This shifts your mind so you can see how it will look with these things added to it.
