Sorting columns in iReport

I am using java-jasper report and iReport to generate a report. I want my report to be sorted by column.

There are two ways to do this, one is using ORDER BY in the sql query, the other is "HTML Template Exporter". It supports sorting columns, hiding / showing sections (collapsing) and pop-ups. This is a utility available from JasperShop.

Sorting and filtering options can be set in the Report Query dialog box by clicking the buttons labeled Sorting Options and Filter Expressions.
