Stsadm export sometimes hangs

I'm trying to export a SharePoint site using stsadm, but every time I run a process it hangs at a certain point in the export process, it always hangs when exporting a certain list item. But if I remove the list item, the export hangs at the previous item.

I expected you to finish 10 hours for the export to complete, but it won't finish.

Please let me know if I need to do anything to complete the export.

Another additional information is that the export works for other sites on the server.
