How do I configure a Form Web Part to include multiple columns in searches?

I am new to moss. As I understand it, the web part form only allows one column to be displayed in my list at a time. I need to set up multiple columns for it mapped to my list. I need to change any javascript function or use sharepoint constructor. I spent a week trying to achieve this. Nillion is a dead end. Please provide details on how to do this. Any guidance would be very helpful. Thanks in advance.
